This website is operated by شركة المشهد العالي لإقامة وتنظيم المعارض والمؤتمرات المحلية والدولية والتدريب والتأهيل والتطوير محدودة المسؤولية. This policy explains how your data is used when you browse Iraq Event or use its account, booking, support and venue services.
Data we use
Depending on the service you use, we process your phone number for verification and booking retrieval, your name and account details, any email you provide, and details of requests, tickets, favourites and messages. When you submit a venue or service, we process its description, capacity, address, links, images, contact details and the manager information you provide.
We also keep session information and the activity records needed to protect accounts, prevent misuse and track permission and request changes. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or wallet PINs in chats or attachments.

Use and access
We use data to operate accounts, verify phone ownership, manage bookings, tickets and requests, provide support, review venues and protect the service. Authorised staff, organisers and providers can access the information needed for a request within their permissions. Operational messages relate to verification or transactions; booking data is not used for marketing without separate consent.
Verification and online payments
When an SMS is sent, the phone number and message are shared with the messaging provider and networks needed for delivery. Verification codes are temporary and are not stored in plain text in the application database. For staff two-factor authentication, the authenticator secret is encrypted and recovery codes are stored in a non-recoverable form.
When proceeding with payment, enter wallet or card details only on the payment provider’s page. Iraq Event does not request your PIN or security code. We retain transaction references, amount, currency and status for reconciliation, follow-up and refunds; returning from the gateway alone does not confirm collection.

Delivery information
When available delivery is selected, we process the recipient’s name, phone number, address and landmark to fulfill the order. Authorized preparation, delivery and collection staff can access these details. They are not used for marketing without separate consent.
Venues and media
When adding a venue, unapproved submissions and media remain private to the owner and authorised reviewers. Only approved content and contact information the owner permits are shown publicly. Content providers are responsible for having the rights to use the images, videos and information they submit.
Map links and external sites are subject to their own policies. Playing an external video may share your IP address and browser details with the video provider; videos do not play automatically. Private support attachments are not published in the public directory.
AI assistant
When the assistant is enabled and used, your message, necessary conversation context and published site information are sent to OpenAI after an attempt to reduce sensitive data. This does not guarantee that all personal information is removed; do not include unnecessary sensitive data. Iraq Event uses its own conversations and settings and does not include Almashhad conversations in assistant requests.
If you request a staff member or the issue cannot be resolved, the conversation and support context are saved for authorised staff. An assistant reply does not confirm payment, a booking or availability without a trusted result from the system or responsible party.
Retention and sharing
We retain data as needed to provide services, track transactions, protect accounts and handle disputes and applicable obligations. Some booking and transaction records may need to be retained after an account deletion request, and backup copies may remain during their retention cycle.
Hosting, messaging, payment and AI providers may process the data needed for their services inside or outside Iraq under their service arrangements and policies. We do not sell account or booking data.
Cookies and privacy requests
We use essential cookies specific to this platform's host for sign-in sessions, verification and form protection. Disabling them may prevent sign-in or booking progress.
To request access to your data, corrections or deletion of data no longer needed, use the help centre or info@ie.almashhadiq.com. We may verify account ownership before processing the request. Changes to this policy appear here with their update date.
